On day 4 Grandma Anderson and Aunt Kari joined us! It was a fantastic day at the Magic Kingdom. Of course Cohen rode the carousel several times with Aunt Harmizzle. He sure loves that ride.
For dinner we went to Cinderella's Royal Table. It was such a treat! The Princesses were so nice, but I think Jasmine was my favorite. She was fantastic with Cohen! She asked him if he was a monkey like Aboo. When Cohen said yes, she asked him if he spoke monkey. After Cohen gave her his best monkey impression, Jasmine declared that Cohen was fluent in monkey and therefore was in fact a monkey!
We dressed Cohen up as Peter pan also, but I will put those pictures in another post. Since this one is already getting so long! We had a fantastic day at the park! I can't wait till we can take Cohen there again!
Aunt Kari bought Cohen a big stuffed Pooh bear and Cohen was thrilled beyond reason! He insisted on carrying it everywhere.

Disney World: Day 3 - Animal Kingdom
Monday, November 7, 2016
On day three we went to the Animal Kingdom! Cohen loved the safari and seeing all the animals. We really didn't do much at the park. It was sooo hot! We grabbed an early dinner (We ate with Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy) and then headed back to the pool. We spent a lot of time at the pool this trip. I don't think I will ever travel to Florida again in September.
Cohen's Hippopotamus (or Hippo-the-Potamus)
When we were at Epcot, Cohen kept saying Hippo-the-Potamus when we were in front of the Finding Nemo Ride. I'm not really sure why he thought there was a hippo there, but he totally did. Well, when we went to Animal Kingdom, Cohen saw a real hippo and he was so excited. By then he was saying Hippopotamus instead of Hippo-the-Potamus. When we walked into one of the gift shops on the way to dinner, they had a stuffed hippo and Cohen started cheering, "Hippopotamus!" He then grabbed it and started cuddling with it. I'm not the type of parent that buys Cohen a lot of souvenirs when we travel, but I totally bought the hippo for him (this is literally the only thing I bought him at Disney World). He cuddled with it every night we were on our trip. It was just too cute.

Disney World: Day 2 - Magic Kingdom!
Friday, November 4, 2016
On day two we went to the Magic Kingdom. I was so excited to take Cohen here since he yells, "CASTLE!" every time we watch an intro to a Disney movie. I think this was Cohen's favorite park because of the train and all the characters that he got to see! We took him on a lot of rides, but the carousel was his favorite (Isn't that awesome? We travel all the way to Disney World and Cohen's favorite ride is one we could find at a mall!). Cohen and dad matched which was totally fun!

Disney World: Day 1 - Birthday at Epcot!
Wednesday, November 2, 2016
In September, Dad, Cohen and I headed to Disney World for a week before heading on a Cruise with the rest of the fam. It was HOT! Too hot for my liking, but we still had a good time. Cohen LOVE it! He was so excited to see all the characters. We didn't really do much at Epcot because we flew in that morning and it's not our favorite park. Cohen did enjoy riding the boat over to France :) and grabbing some sweet treats. We then headed back to the Reef Restaurant for my birthday dinner. It was a nice day and a fun way to spend my birthday.

Happy Halloween from Peter Pan!
Monday, October 31, 2016
This year Grandma Anderson was kind enough to make Cohen a Peter Pan Halloween costume! We took it to Disney World with us in September and got some very cute pics with Tinker Bell (I will post next week). We've had such a fun Halloween. Friday we had a fun Halloween party at play group and then we had a church Halloween party on Saturday night. Cohen has had sooooo many sweets! Tonight Cohen will be trick or treating in our building.
I took Cohen to play in the park this morning and decided to dress him up so I could get some pictures. People in the park kept saying, "Hi, Peter Pan!" It was so much fun. There were a few people that called him Robin Hood, but it's all good. They look so similar! :)

I need another title for my blog! Oh, and Happy Halloween!
So, if you haven't heard, I moved to Manhattan! I'm totally excited about this adventure and we are LOVING it so much! If you have any recommendations on what the new title of my blog should be, let me know!
I didn't get a chance to take Cohen pumpkin picking (mom fail, I know), but I did take him to visit Leonard J Buck Garden in New Jersey. It was a fantastic outing and the garden was so beautiful. If I was a photographer, I would totally take people here for shoots. Cohen loved walking over all the bridges and climbing up the stairs. It was such a nice morning out.

The Enchanted Forest
Wednesday, June 15, 2016
One of the items on Grandma and Auntie Harmizzle's itinerary of fun things to do with Cohen was visiting the Enchanted Forest. It's a little amusement park that's inspired by fairy tales. I remember visiting there as a child and was very excited to experience it as an adult with Cohen. This was another win with Cohen! He LOVED it! He loved going into the "tunnels" (Basically any little building he could go into). He went into the Indian Caves in Western Town and Grandpa and Jeff had to drag him out. He would have stayed there all day if we had let him. He also loved the rabbit tunnel (from Alice in Wonderland). The one Auntie Harmizzle was afraid to go in when she was little :) It was a fun trip for the whole family.
Working in the yard with Grandma and Grandpa Anderson
Monday, June 13, 2016
Jeff, Cohen, and I flew to Washington to visit with my family at the end of May. Dad retires in a few short days and we went out early to help him celebrate. Grandma had something planned for Cohen everyday we were there. Let's just say Cohen had a fantastic time!
Day 1: Grandma took Cohen out to the garden to plant some onions. It was so fun watching Cohen "help" Grandma. I think my favorite moment was when it actually came time to plant the onions. Cohen helped push some in but then grabbed the bag and dumped all the onions out on the ground. He then sprinkled the onions all over. Good times.
Grandpa then pulled out the tractor and took Cohen for a ride. Cohen loved it! He asked to go for rides the rest of the trip.
I love my parents. They are so good to Cohen.

Another trip to the Oregon Zoo
Thursday, May 19, 2016
I LOVE the Oregon Zoo! I also love that I go and take the exact same pictures and over and over again :) I also love that Cohen LOVES the zoo too! When Cohen and I were in Washington a couple of months ago my parents and Kari took us to the zoo!

One of my favorite moments of the day was when the Snack stands opened and Cohen spotted a soft pretzel. He then turned to Grandma and said, "I need big pretzel." Grandma of course didn't hesitate and immediately started pulling out her wallet to buy Cohen his pretzel. Can you say spoiled?

Dyeing Easter Eggs with Auntie Harmizzle (Grandma and Grandpa too)
Monday, April 4, 2016
Easter came early for Cohen. My mom and dad decided that since Cohen was not going to be with them on Easter, they would just celebrate the Sunday before. Cohen woke up to a Minion inspired Easter Basket! He LOVED the chocolate and books they gave him.
One of the many activities that my family had planned for Cohen while we were visiting them in Washington was dying Easter eggs. It's a tradition for Kari and my dad to dye easter eggs every year and they were excited to have Cohen join in on the fun....well, not as excited as Cohen! I clearly need to do more crafts with Cohen because he LOVED dyeing eggs!

Making Sugar Cookies with Grandma
Friday, April 1, 2016
My mom has talked about making sugar cookies with Cohen before he was even born. Supposedly it's something that Grandma's do with their grandchildren :) Kari and Dad have been making fun of her for wanting to make cookies with Cohen when he is so young, but mom didn't let that get her down. When she was visiting us over Christmas, she made oatmeal cookies with him. He just basically watched, but I think both had fun.
Well, I saw on Facebook that Staci (a family friend from La Center) made sugar cookies with her grandson who is literally the same age as Cohen. I told my mom about it and to not let Kari and Dad bug her about it. So, the first day of our trip to Washington Mom made sugar cookies with Cohen. It was so much fun watching them. Cohen started getting the hang of things by the end, but he really just wanted to eat the dough and play with it. Can you blame him?! I think after a couple more tries Cohen will be an expert! Thanks mom for wanting to make such wonderful memories with Cohen.
