We went to the Animal Kingdom on our first day in Disney World. This was the only one of the four parks that I have never been to, so I was really excited.
My dad has this thing about being at amusement parks at least 15 min before they open. He's so funny that way. So...we arrived early and did the waiting thing. 
Our first goal was to go on Expedition Everest. It's the only roller coaster in the park, so we knew lines would get long. Luckily we walked right on! It was a so much fun!
We then made our way over to the safari ride. I have heard lots about it, so I was excited to finally get to see it. My dad heard it was a little cheesy, but we were all pleasantly surprised at how fun it was. There were so many cool animals.
There really isn't a whole lot at this park. We did see two shows. One was a lion king thing that was kind of cool. The other was the Finding Nemo Musical. I really enjoyed it. I wish it was a little longer. They really cruised through that show.
Of course we watched the parade. Gotta love a good Disney parade.
We then made our way over to Yak & Yeti for dinner. I really loved this restaurant. The food was soooooo good. Then we headed home for a little swim time in the pool (this hardly happens on an Anderson family Disney vaction.) I loved it!
