There’s this book called “Not Quite What I Was Planning: Six-Word Memoirs by Writers Famous and Obscure.” Wow! What a title! I haven’t read it but amazon.com has a little video showing some of the six-word memoirs. While some are lame, there are some fun ones that I enjoy. My favorite from is Nora Ephron. She has a good point: “Secret of Life: Marry An Italian.” New life goal – I’m going to prove this correct!
I heard about this on NPR; some of the ideas are really cool.

I think we should write six-word memoirs using our fridge magnets.
A friend of mine blogged about this a while back and asked readers to comment with their six word memoirs. I loved it. Mine was "My heart belongs to New York." Then she later linked a NY Times article about the book, which was written in all 6 word sentences. Love it.
